Officers with the Bladensburg Police Department were called to conduct a welfare check at an apartment building on the 4100 block of 53rd Place around 11:15 p.m. and found a woman with traumatic injuries.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The investigation is being led by the Prince George’s County Police Homicide Unit.
